With this new update, the media_writer::scale_frame() function now converts the frame to a JPEG-compatible pixel format. This means that the frame is now compatible with most JPEG viewers and editors. However, we have also taken into consideration the feedback from our users and ensured that all frame metadata, such as format and picture dimensions, are also carried over. This will ensure that your video snapshots are now working seamlessly.
