Bluecherry Version 3 Client Beta 10 Released, Now With Linux Support!
We’re excited to announce the release of Bluecherry Version 3 Client Beta 10!
This release comes with several new features and updates that we know you’ll be excited about. We are now introducing support for Linux (via deb packages, RPM packages or AppImage). As well as this, we have a Windows release available. Finally, you can now download an Android release from here: GitHub.
Our team has been hard at work making sure Bluecherry Version 3 Client Beta 10 offers a better experience for our users.
Here are some of the key features and updates you can expect:

The following is a list of changes for this release:
- Added Linux support with AppImage
- Fixed a crash on iOS and remove usage of deprecated APIs
- Fixed some state leaks that could lead to crashes
- Fixed gestures in TimelineView; Do not mount events on TimelineView
- Listen to video duration changes on video viewer, and display the correct event duration
- Keep the state of the videos in the grid view. This is done to ensure the video texture will not be reinitialized for some reason, such as reordering or adding a new device to the grid
- Re-enable multi window support
- Add a check for single camera server
- Reworked mobile views (#91)
- Added linux support
- Implemented PTZ control support
- Several performance improvements on events:
- Previously, only 50 events were loaded at once. Now, 1000 events are loaded
- Filtering has also been improved, being able to go through a long list of events whenever necessary
- Improved visualization of events with lazy loading and fixed item extent
- Added the Refresh feature on desktop
